When my wife had our first child, I knew I wanted to do something special to commemorate the occasion. I've always loved photography, so I decided to start my own photography business, Golden Photography.

I started Golden Photography with the goal of capturing the beauty of everyday moments. I believe that every moment is special, and I want to help my clients preserve those moments for years to come.

I specialize in family photography, but I also offer a variety of other services, including wedding photography, portrait photography, and event photography. I'm always happy to discuss your needs and create a custom package that fits your budget.

I'm located in Bakersfield, CA, but I'm willing to travel to capture your special moments. I'm also available for weekend and evening appointments.

My Story

I've always loved photography. I remember when I was a kid, I would spend hours taking pictures of everything around me. I loved the way that photography could capture a moment in time and preserve it forever.

As I got older, my passion for photography only grew stronger. I never took photography classes in high school and college, but I did use my dads old Canon 35mm all the time in high school, thinking I was the best photographer. I loved sharing my photos with the world and hearing from other photographers.

I graduated high school in 2002. My senior year started like every other year, but then something terrible happened in September. On the 11th day of September 2021 on the way to school, listening to KUZZ I heard about the tragic events taking place in New York. That day changed my life, as it did so many others. After I graduated a spent a few year trying to figure out what I wanted to do, and I eventually enlisted in the Army. After I got out of the Army, I worked for AT&T for nearly a decade before I started going back to college to become a teacher. After I graduated from college I got my first teaching job. I loved my job, but I always knew that I wanted to start my own photography business one day.

When my wife had our first child in 2022, I knew that it was the perfect time to start really putting effort in to my own business. I wanted to do something special to commemorate the occasion, and I knew that photography was the perfect way to do it.

I started Golden Photography with the goal of capturing the beauty of everyday moments. I believe that every moment is special, and I want to help my clients preserve those moments for years to come.

I'm so grateful that I was able to turn my passion into a career. Photography is my dream job, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
